A polyrhythmic piano solo - "Lunch music for small hungry cannibals" 2004.

This is a notated piece that use fragments of rhythms and melodies inbetween the improvisations. These parts are played freely over a left hand ostinato.

This is inspired by minimalists such as Terry Riley and Steve Reich, but also from the speedy sounds of Art Tatum and Conlon Nancarrow's otherworldly player piano compositions. The piece is fun and should be played with a machine-like quality, not unlike a player piano.
